Meghan had the option of selecting a diamond tiara from the royal jewellery collection and decided on a diamond tiara from the Queen’s jewellery vault. She wore the Queen Mary‘s Bandeau along with a veil on her wedding day to Prince Harry on 19 May 2018. “The bandeau, which is made of diamonds and platinum, is formed as a flexible band of eleven sections, pierced with interlaced ovals and pavé set with large and small brilliant cut diamonds. The centre is set with a detachable brooch of ten brilliant diamonds,” the Palace revealed. The tiara was designed for Queen Mary in 1932 with a strong emphasis on the centre brooch; the brooch was a gift given to the then Princess Mary in 1893 by the County of Lincoln on her marriage to Prince George, Duke of York. Meghan looked elegant and graceful while she walked down the aisle.
