Charlize Theron
Charlize Theron made a stunning statement with a plunging black Christian Dior haute couture dress, which she accessoried with 15$million (R161million) worth of diamonds around her neck. This cluster diamond pendant is set with a 31 carat colourless flawless square emerald-cut diamond centre stone.
Lupita Nyong’o
The “12 Years a Slave” star from Kenya was the talk of the evening in her pastel blue Prada gown, delicate gold and diamond headband, 19th century gold and diamond snake bracelet and several vintage rings, as she accepted her award for “Best Supporting Actress”. It is said that she may have set a trend for diamond headpieces for future red carpet events.
